I just returned home from Turin, where I gave a lecture and book presentation at the Universita' Politecnico di Torino. Thanks to Prof. Sergio Pace and Josep-Maria Garcia-Fuentes for the invitation. We also managed to attend the ostensione (veneration) of the Shroud of Turin--the first time this century that it has been on display to the public (the last time was during the Jubilee Year 2000).
